Land Back as Property Stewardship Ethic | Church Property Resource Hub (CPRH) | September 2026
Under the leadership of Pastor Wanda Frenchman, Indigenous Ministries and Tribal Relations seek to honor Indigenous leadership, confront the church’s colonial legacy and foster reconciliation through the Truth and Healing Movement. Honoring our commitment as a church through the social policy resolution “Supporting ELCA Land Back Efforts and Indigenous Ministries,” CPRH hosted a webinar focused on land return. Participants learned about the Land Back movement and heard from congregations and synods taking part in land return and reconciliation efforts.
